The Women On Target Clinic is an opportunity for women, ages 16 and up, to learn the basics of shooting in a safe and friendly environment. This course is geared toward women that are completely new to shooting, have very little experience or would like to go back and learn the fundamentals of safe shooting.
The Clinic schedule spends about an hour introducing the basics of handling firearms safely, then moves on to practicing these skills under the direction of one Range Safety Officer to every three women participants. Each participant shoots approximately 100 rounds, divided between .22 rifles and .22 pistols, and at a variety of targets.
At the end of the scheduled shooting, participants have the opportunity to try a variety of firearms provided by members of the Four Corners Rifle and Pistol Club ….. from several pistols which specifically fit a woman’s hand, to AR15’s or hunting rifles.
The 2019 WOT Instructional Shooting Clinic will be Saturday, June 1, 2019. Cost $35.00 includes everything you’ll need for a great day of instruction and hands-on shooting.
This annual Clinic fills quickly, so please contact Anita Mayhew to be sure there are still openings. 970-903-5120
