Rimfire Benchrest

Eye and ear protection are required. Rifles must be unloaded and either flagged or with the bolt removed at all times except when shooting. The gates open at 7:30am for registration, set-up, and safety meeting, and shooting begins at 8:30am. There will be matches for Target rifles and Sporter/Varmint rifles. The Sporter/Varmint class rules allow most commonly owned rifles. So, bring what you have and hone your precision shooting skills. Rimfire BR events are for 22 Long Rifle and 22-caliber air rifles, using standard velocity ammunition only. There are matches for scopes and unmagnified sights. Target class is essentially unrestricted – typically heavy rifles with mechanical rests, any scope or aperture sight, and premium ammunition. Sporter rifles must have repeater action, scope magnification setting is limited to 15X, and the front rest must be a bipod or simple bag. Sporter class shoots a spec ammunition provided at the event. Target Class matches will be at 50 and 100 yards. Sporter Class matches will be at 50, 100, and 200 yards. The entry fee is $3 for Target Class and $10 for Sporter Class (which includes the ammunition).
