July 2021 – Meeting Minutes

Meeting of the Four Corners Rifle and Pistol Club 7/27/2021

Meeting brought to order by President Mike Upchurch @ 6:34 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance

There were 13 members present (missing Joe Drago, and Jim Kingery)

Secretary Jenn Reynolds read the June Minutes – motioned and passed

Treasurer Anita Mayhew presented the treasurer’s report which was motioned and passed.  The ending balance for the month of July was $95,213.25

Need a second credit card for the raffle account to keep accounts separate

Indoor Range

• New additional days are reserved for Brandi, Norm, and Jr. Shooters
• Need to get new people to the indoor range to use more.
• Weeds still need to be dealt with
• Workday
• Cabinet in the main room to store supplies currently housed in men’s bathrooms
• Igniter for heater
• Patch leaking in Jr. Shooters area

Norm

• Hold till mid-October
• Sisters will be meeting on the occasional Thursday in the off-season – air rifle

Directors

• Larry has nothing to add
• Roger has nothing to add

Pistol League

• Chuck put new cardboard in the container
• Round enamel pin instead of a hat for division winner

Ruger 10-22 vote from the last meeting – mic asked about the situation

• Mic has offered to fix them – Anita will give them to him tonight

Gate:

• Chris with Viking has been making preliminary work on getting the gate up and running.
• Need to pick a date – Mike was curious about if it was possible to have the gate ready by BBQ

• Music
• Door prizes
  • Member of the Year (historical)

Hunter Site In

• Volunteers for Hunter Site In
• Mic suggests raising the fee for Hunter Site In. Currently $7/gun
• Motion to raise to $10/gun passed
• Need a Coordinator
  • Mic is on the shortlist for two seasons (1^st and 3^rd)
  • Roger could do 2^nd season
