Monthly Meeting Minutes
June 25, 2024
The meeting of the Four Corners Rifle and Pistol Club was called to order by Mike Upchurch – President at 6:35 pm.

Meeting Minutes: Gayel
Anita made a motion to approve the May Meeting Minutes. Charles seconded the motion and the motion passed.
Secretary of Membership Report: Evan
No membership report was presented.
Treasure Report: Anita
Anita shared the financial report with the members present and the report accompanies these minutes. John made a motion to approve the treasurer’s report. Charles seconded the motion and the motion passed.
Women at the Range: Anita
The event made a total of $268.77 in income with a full line of 24 shooters. Everyone had a great time and a big thank you to all the volunteers that made the day so fun, exciting and safe for the women. A good time was had by all.
Outdoor Range Committee: Evan
Evan gave a report on what the committee has decided to do for the safety of all members and the outdoor range. The committee has decided to get cameras so issues that have come to lite will and can be addressed. The cameras will have a solar system which will recycle every 30 days hour by hour. The members present at the meeting discussed the issues and came up with suggestions. As more information becomes available the board will send more information out to the members. Even also discussed the NRA opportunity for the club to make some money when new members sign up for NRA throughout website. Evan is also updating the website for the Club as well as working on the Gun Show website. A video that Evan made of the Outdoor Range from a drone was shown to the members present. The video showed the range and its boundaries. The committee is hoping to share the video with the State Land Board at the meeting that is being planned. It was asked if this great video could be added to the Club’s website to give new members a view of the outdoor range and could be a great marketing tool.
Jr. Shooters: Norm
Norm was not at this month’s meeting.

Annual Picnic: Anita
The members present discussed several different menu options and costs for the different types of food available. It was agreed that more information was needed before a definite decision could be made. Anita will get more information and keep the Executive Board updated and will finalize everything at the next monthly meeting in July. The picnic will be from 5:30 to 7:30 on August 27th, at the Outdoor Range. It was also discussed to invite the CCW instructors and the Sherrif to the picnic.
Indoor Range: Charles
Pistol League had a practice last Saturday and it was well attended. The next practice will be on July 20th from 9 till noon and on August 17th from 9 till noon. Roger is planning on replacing the cardboard on the 6th or the 27th depending upon when he has the help. He will make calls and find out which date is better for the gentlemen that help him. Brandi will be having a CCW Class on July 13th and 14th and August 10th and 11th.
Outdoor Range: Bobby
Bobby was not at this month’s meeting.
Anita made a motion for the meeting to be adjourned, John seconded the motion and the meeting adjourned at 7:43 pm.
